.Askar Rahimov was born on November 27, 1956 in Goychay. Educated at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts, drama-cinema faculty. In 1978-1988 he worked as an actor in the Russian Drama Theater named after S.Vurgun, later in the Baku Camera Theater, in 2005 He returned to the Russian Drama Theater.
On march 21 2017 Askar Rahimov died.
