Mikael Bertelsen was born on October 5, 1967 as Mikael Simson Bertelsen. He is a producer and writer, known for Jul i verdensrummet (2006), Monberg & Tuxen (2004) and Sport med briller (2004). He is married to Malou Aamund. They have three children.2003-2006: Program executive for culture and entertainment programming for Danish television channel DR2. During his tenure, he oversaw the production of successful programming such as Jul på Vesterbro  (2003), Tal med Gud (2004), Мальчики из Ангоры (2004), Dolph & Wulff (2005) and Clement direkte med Clement Kjersgaard (2005). He also took part in the decision to focus the channel's cultural efforts on new, more topical programming rather than weekly magazines.
