Berkan Şal  - is a Turkish actor. He was born on January 1, 1969 in Yenidoğan, Ankara as the son of a tailor mother and a father of a bus company operator. He worked in various jobs until the age of 21, and then became acquainted with acting classes in the Municipality of Altındağ. He was admitted to Ankara University DTCF Theater and Acting Department, but dropped out in the third grade because of his poor financial state. While continuing his career as a sound director, DJ and operator in various venues, his paths crossed with Erdal Beşikçioğlu and at the urging of Erdal Beşikçioğlu, he returned to acting with a theater play.
