Jamie Linden (born September 3, 1980) is an American screenwriter best known as the writer of 2006 film We Are Marshall and the writer of 2010 film Dear John. He also wrote and directed the 2010 independent movie 10 Years, starring Channing Tatum.inden grew up in Winter Park, Florida near Orlando, where he attended Lake Howell High School. He attended Florida State University's College of Communication, majoring in marketing and media production.
