Ilham Gasimov – is an Azerbaijan actor, director, screenwriter, producer, comedian, ex- member of KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive People) team Parni iz Baku, TV presenter/host. As an actor he is best know for playing Aliabbas – the witty guy who falls in love with the daughter of jealous and tough local police chief in  Fikrat Aliyevs “Yuxu” (Dream) and Rusik  - rich and pompous Kasanova in Mahalla 1 and Mahalla 2 . He gained wide acclaim in recent years for his work on Azerbaijani comedy blockbuster “Oglan Evi” and its sequel (Oglan Evi 2). Ilham Gasimov was born August 20^th, 1977 in Vedi region of Armenia SSR. Finished secondary school No. 17.  He took part in number of school plays. Later he studied at Azerbaijan Tech University. He was member of university’s KVN (CFIP) team Biz Biznesdenik and won two national championships (1994,1995). Made his debut in television as a TV presenter in ABA TV (Məhəbbət Üçbucağı, Music Ball, Nərdivan, etc.) After closure of ABA he continued his hosting career at Space TV  in entertainment projects such as, Piramida, Zəfər Zəngi. He was member of professional league KVN team, Parni Iz Baku through 2001-2006. Ilham Gasimov is married to Ayla Qasimova. Wedding took place in Baku  in 2014.
