Description

Two con men try to settle their rivalry by betting on who can swindle a young American heiress out of fifty thousand dollars first. Fate brings two inveterate scammers - Freddie Benson and Lawrence Jamison, specializing in gigolo in fooling rich ladies. In a town somewhere in the south of France, Freddie first takes lessons from the maestro Lawrence, but, having quarreled, his colleagues bet: who of them is the first to taunt an unfamiliar rich woman, he remains in the city, and the loser has to get out.
