Having been in the film industry for more than 20 years, focusing on commercial feature films, Yang Du has rich professional experience as well as a vast social network. She is a professional manager with a wide area of expertise such as project development, film investing, film production, publicity, distribution, and marketing. As of 2015, She has participated in over 20 film projects which created a total box office of 500 million USD.

Du Yang was an uncredited executive for Hua Yi Brothers on the film Warriors of Heaven and Earth.
