Shakhmar Alekperov was born on August 23, 1943 in the city of Kirovabad (now - Ganja) of the Azerbaijan SSR. In "Azerbaijanfilm" Shahmar Alekperov showed himself as an actor and director, and also dubbed films. Shahmar Alekperov played in 147 films. In "Azerbaijanfilm" Shahmar Alekperov showed himself as an actor and director, and also dubbed films. Among the known roles are Gazanfar ("Seven sons of mine"), son ("Expectation"), Iman ("The Last Pass"), Arif ("Life Tests Us "), Azad ("Baku Blows the Winds"), Ghatyr Mamed ("Avenger from Ganjabasar"), Javidan ("Babek"), Ibrahim ("It's time to saddle the horses"), etc. In 1987, Shakhmar Alekperov (together with Gulbeniz Azimzadeh (Azeri), Russian) filmed his first film "Examination (Azeri) Russian." Based on Anar's novel "Summer Days of the City" with Hamlet Khanyzade in the title role. Alekperov also made such films as "Gazellekhan" and "The Endless Night". The actor died of cancer on August 12, 1992, at the age of 49.
