Gauri Khan

Gauri Khan (born Gauri Chibber; 8 October 1970), is an Indian film producer and an interior designer. She is also the co-owner of the production house and distribution company Red Chillies Entertainment along with her husband, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Khan has produced several successful films, including Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007), My Name Is Khan (2010), Ra. One (2011), Chennai Express (2013), Happy New Year (2014), Dilwale and Raees - the last three rank among the highest grossing Hindi films. Gauri Chibber was born in Delhi to Punjabi Hindu Brahmin parents Savita and Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chibber with roots in Rawalpindi and raised in the suburb of Panchsheel Park. She completed her schooling at Loreto Convent School, she completed twelfth from Modern School, Delhi; and graduated from Lady Shri Ram College with B.A. She also completed six months course in fashion designing from NIFT, Delhi and learnt tailoring due to her father's garment business. She met Shah Rukh Khan in 1984 and married him on 25 October 1991 prior to his successful Bollywood career. They have 3 children: son Aryan Khan (b. 12 November 1997), daughter Suhana Khan (b. 22 May 2000), and son AbRam Khan (b. 27 May 2013 via surrogacy).
