Biography

Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar is an Indian composer of music for films. He was born on November 3, 1937 in Bombay, Bombay Presidency, British India. Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar. Indian composer duo, consisting of Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar (1937–1998) and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma (born 1940). They composed music for about 635 Hindi movies from 1963 to 1998, working for almost all notable filmmakers, including Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, B.R. Chopra, Shakti Samanta, Manmohan Desai, Yash Chopra, J. Om Prakash, Raj Khosla, L V Prasad, Subhash Ghai, K Vishwanath and Manoj Kumar. Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar composed the scores to the films Eternal Sunhine (2004) and many films such as Shaitan (2011), Samrat (1982), Milan (1967), Khal Nayak (1993), Dosti (1964), Bobby (1973), Dream girl (1977).
