Brahm Wenger was born 1 january 1953 in Montreal, Canada. He came to Los Angeles to work with the legendary film composer Jerry Goldsmith (Star Trek, Mulan, Air Force One, Planet of the Apes) and is a graduate of the USC Film Scoring School of Music and McGill University, where he won McGill's Scarlet Key Award for music.In addition to scoring the entire Air Bud and Air Buddies series for Walt Disney Pictures, Brahm has written music for over 44 films - including projects for CBS (Absolute Truth), The Weinstein Company (Chestnut), FOX (Voyage of Terror), Warner Bros (When in Rome), HBO (Hollow Point) and Lifetime Channel (Accidental Christmas).In support of their longterm deal with Netflix, Disney has recently premiered a fantastic site for all-things Air Buddies! The Air Buddies series continues to be one of Disney's most successful franchises worldwide.Recently, Brahm completed the score for the indie film, Golden Shoes, a sports/fantasy starring Eric Roberts, Vivica A. Fox and John Rhys-Davies.Over the past 2 years, Brahm has completed the scores for 3 more family feature films - Russell Madness, Monkey Up and Pupstar. All 3 films are part of Director Robert Vince's new 6-picture deal with Netflix. Pupstar is premiering in early Fall 2016.Brahm and Bardel Animation have teamed up with Georgia Public Broadcasting and many of America's leading non-profits to create Mack & Moxy. This award-winning children's show introduces kids to important causes like Hunger Awareness (w/Feeding America), Early Childhood Education (w/Save The Children), Child Safey (w/SafeKids Worldwide), Emergency Preparedness ( w/American Red Cross), Fighting Malaria (w/United Nations) and Autism (w/Easter Seals).Mack & Moxy features guest appearances with Keegan-Michael Key, Kal Penn, Rachael Ray, Josh Duhamel, Dean Norris, Melissa Fumero and many others.Mack & Moxy is distributed by American Pubic Television (APT) and is currently running on most PBS stations across the the country. Starting October 1 it can also be seen on Netflix in the US. When not working on film and television projects, Brahm continues to work with one of Europe's leading commercial directors, Reto Salimbeni. Together, they have collaborated on over 80 commercials for many leading international companies like IKEA, Shell Oil, Nestle, Swiss Cablecom and Zurich Insurance.Brahm has been awarded The Mom's Choice Award, The Writer's Digest Award, The Teacher's Choice Award and The Parent's Choice Award for his work on The Doo-its and the Mack & Moxy shows.
