Victoria Alonso was born on December 22, 1965 in Buenos Aires. She is currently executive vice president of physical production at Marvel Studios. Alonso left his native Buenos Aires at age 19, to land in New York with the intention of exploring a career as an actress. Some time later he moved to Los Angeles, but after many rejections he decided to dedicate himself to film behind the scenes. She co-produced films such as Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger and from The Avengers she is the executive producer of all the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In 2016 she became the first woman to win the Harold Lloyd Award from The Advanced Imaging Society, an award for the most outstanding professionals in the world of special effects.
