In 2020, Fishback played the role of street teen Robin in the Netflix film The Force Project starring Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. In 2021, she co-starred with Daniel Kaluuya in Judas and the Black Messiah, playing the role of Deborah Johnson, Fred Hampton's co-star and future mother of Fred Hampton Jr.
