Mikhail Pavlovich Ziv (May 25, 1921 - May 30, 1994, Moscow) - Soviet composer. In 1947 he graduated from the Moscow Conservatory. In 1984-85 he read a course of lectures "Musical Composition" at the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors. He worked in fiction, animation and popular science films. He was titled Honored Artist of the RSFSR in 1979.
