Aziz Basmachi was born in 1912. He is a Turkish theater and film artist. He starred in many theater comedies in the 1950s and 1960s. Aziz Basmachi was born in Thessaloniki, on the territory of the Ottoman Empire in 1912. He graduated from Sisli Terakki High School in Istanbul. In 1933, he professionally appeared on Sound Opereti. He later went on stage in many theaters. He died of a heart attack on March 14, 1978, while traveling by train to Ankara. His sons Yusuf Basmachi and Necat Basmachi also play today in series and commercials.
