Mario Mondello is a former Italian diplomat and World War II expert. He was born on August 7, 1914 in Rome. He died in Rome on March 22, 2003. In 1997, He gave interview to  BBC's documentary series The Nazis: A Warning from History. Participated in 6 episodes of the series.
