Gregoire Hetzel was born in 1972 in Paris. Received a musical education at the Paris Conservatory. In 2003, he published his first novel, Green Paradise, which was published by Gallimar Publishing House. In the cinema, Gregoire Etzel wrote the original music for the films of directors Emmanuel Bourdieu, Mathieu Amalric, Arno Depleshen and Catherine Corsini. In 2011, he was nominated for the Cesar Prize for the best original music for the film for the music for the film Tree.
