Lazar Naumovich Milkis (November 15, 1923 - January 9, 2010) - a prominent figure of Soviet cinema, organizer of film production. Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation. A veteran of Soviet cinema, led film crews of dozens of feature films, worked for over 50 years at the Tashkent film studio and at the Mosfilm film studio. Since 1997, he has lived in the House of Veterans of Cinema.
