Ulas Cihan Şimşek is a Turkish director, screenwriter and producer. He is a laureate of the "Altin Koza" Film Award. He was born on October 21, 1977 in Istanbul, Turkey. He is a graduate of Istanbul Bilgi University, Okan University and Marmara University (Film and Television). In 2012, the film "A handful of sea" took part in the New York Film Festival.
