Sara Serraiocco (born 13 August 1990) is an Italian film, stage and television actress.Quintano acted in two 3-D films during the early 1980s; Comin' at Ya! (1981) and Treasure of the Four Crowns (1983) (on which he also worked as a producer and writer). His career thereafter would focus primarily on action-comedies, such as the third and fourth Police Academy films, the Allan Quatermain films for Cannon and Operation Dumbo Drop for Disney. In 2001, Quintano wrote a kung-fu reimagining of The Three Musketeers for director Peter Hyams. The Musketeer was a critical and commercial failure. His last credit was on the family feature Funky Monkey, which ended up being released straight-to-video, despite its $30 million budget. Born in Pescara, Serraiocco developed from a young age a passion for dance and cinema, and she later worked as a dance teacher too. In 2010, Serraiocco moved to Rome where she attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia Italian National Film School. After appearing in one episode of crime series R.I.S. Roma, Serraiocco made her film debut in 2013, starring in Salvo, awarded The Critics' Week Grand Prix during 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Her performance as a blind girl brought up in the suburbs of Palermo got her several awards including the Italian Golden Globe for best actress and the "Guglielmo Biraghi" Nastro d'Argento as best new talent.
