Biography
Vincent Newman (August 12, 1965, California, USA) graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara as a political science major. He began a career as a feature film producer in 1999, after a post-collegiate career in public and community service working for the United States House of Representatives and the Union Rescue Mission of Los Angeles. With initial success making a number of small budget independent films, his development slate expanded to include projects of all sizes based on original material, fiction and non-fiction novels and other branded IP. With multiple feature film and television projects in studio, independent and network development, his credits include Poolhall Junkies, which received an ESPY Award nomination for Best Sports Film; A Man Apart, starring Vin Diesel and Larenz Tate; and Red Dawn, starring Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Adrianne Palicki. Most recently, Vincent produced the comedy feature, We're the Millers for New Line/Warner Bros. The film stars Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis, and is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. The breakout comedy of 2013, the film reached $150 million at the domestic theatrical box office and over $270 million at the worldwide theatrical box.
